Deichman for deg is a new initiative aimed at revitalizing the library experience for younger users aged 15-20. The platform integrates digital interactivity with aesthetic improvements and a gamified reward system. This system is designed to enhance motivation for exploring literature, participating in cultural events, and enjoying the social atmosphere of the library. The project seeks to create a modern library experience tailored to the dynamic lifestyle of today's younger generation.
Deichman faced a critical challenge: while they offered numerous services and cultural events, these offerings were failing to engage younger users. This gap in service engagement meant that the library was missing a crucial demographic—teenagers and young adults—who are increasingly drawn to digital entertainment over traditional cultural experiences.
Our goal was to develop a service that could reconnect these users with Deichman by providing a platform that was not only interactive and aesthetically appealing but also motivating through a rewards system. The platform had to merge the physical and digital realms of the library to create a cohesive and engaging user journey.
The solution we proposed was a hybrid platform that would enhance the connection between Deichman's physical spaces and its digital presence. The core idea centered around a rewards system that offered points and incentives for engaging with the library's services, both online and in person.
